Privacy Policy
Information we do NOT collect
We do not collect or transmit any of the following: name, email, phone number, date of birth or exact age, precise or coarse location, device identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), IP address, contacts, photos, your individual answers or tap logs, or any usage analytics. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us or to any third party for our use.
Information stored locally on your device
To make the app work, some information is saved only on your device (in the app's local storage) and never leaves it through us:
- Your results / history — for each completed test: the estimated score, its range and percentile, the test mode, your selected age band (a range such as “18–29”, never a birth date or exact age), the timestamp, and the app/engine version. We do not store your individual answers.
- App settings — your chosen theme and language, and whether you have seen the intro screen.
This data stays on your device. You can remove it at any time (see Data retention and deletion).
The certificate feature
If you choose to create a certificate, the first name, last name, and age you type are kept in memory only to draw the certificate image. They are not saved to the app's storage, history, settings, or logs, and disappear when you leave the screen.
When you tap “share”, your device's standard share sheet opens and you choose where to send the certificate image. Anything you share that way goes to the destination you select (for example a messaging app or your files), which is outside our control and governed by that destination's own privacy terms. We do not receive a copy.
No third parties
The app contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party trackers. It does not require a network connection to function and does not send your personal data to any third party.
Children's privacy
This app is not directed to children. It is intended for adults (18 and over), and the selectable age ranges start at 18. The app collects no personal data from anyone, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
Data retention and deletion
Your locally stored data remains until you delete it. You can delete individual results or all results from within the app, and deleting (uninstalling) the app removes all of its local data from your device. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Security
Your data never leaves your device through us, so it is protected by your device's own security (passcode, encryption, and app sandboxing).
Not a medical or diagnostic service
Noeta IQ is an educational tool that provides a provisional estimate of visual reasoning. It is not a medical, clinical, or diagnostic service, and results are not a validated or official IQ measurement. This policy concerns privacy only; see the in-app Methodology screen for what the result means.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights over personal data. Because the app does not collect or hold your personal data off your device, we have no personal data about you to access, correct, or delete. For questions, contact us at uladzislau.dudarau@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices ever change, we will update this policy and its effective date. Material changes will be reflected in an app update.
